If you ask for changes, or we find hidden conditions on site (poor soil, damaged existing structures or services), we will tell you and agree any change in scope, price or time before continuing.

4. Plans, Approvals and Engineers
Building work may need municipal plan approval and an engineer's design or sign-off. We will tell you what applies to your project, and the property owner is responsible for approvals unless the quote says otherwise.

5. Your Responsibilities
Confirm that you own the property or have the owner's permission, give safe access to the site, and tell us about known problems such as existing structural damage or underground services.

6. Emergency Repairs
For urgent repairs we first make the area safe and then agree the repair with you. Response times depend on distance, weather and workload, and we cannot guarantee a specific arrival time. Assessment call-outs may be charged, and we will tell you before we start.

7. Payment
Payment terms, deposits and milestones are stated in your quote or building agreement. Please agree them before work starts.

8. Delays
Weather, material shortages, late approvals, changes you request and other factors outside our control can affect timelines. Any dates we give are estimates unless agreed in writing.

9. Liability and Your Rights
We take reasonable care with all work. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by hidden defects, existing structures or conditions not disclosed to us. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or other South African law.

10. Complaints and Governing Law
